Choose-vada-pav-center Spinner

The basic idea is this:

I will create a website that functions sorta like a spinning ticker. The kind that is used in Game Shows and Shopify websites. Each section in the circle of the spinner will correspond to a vada pav place. The full list will be decided by Naqu and I.

Naqu can then shoot a video with us selecting 3-4 places from the spinner and us going and trying each place out.

A quick vue app would be fine. Though i don't wanna spend too much time on this.

Features

  • Provide custom words that can show up on the spinner
  • Button the spin the wheel
  • User can opt to "select" the value the ticker will land. This "selected" value will not be selected again when spinning the wheel the next time.

I've bought a susbcription for Claude Pro today to actually try out Claude Code with this problem statement of mine.

And within half an hour I had the app up and running with the most basic features (an MVP at the very least). Fucking amazing this tool is if guided well.

Got Claude to add a "neo-brutalist" UI for the spinner app. Naqu also suggested another site that her team uses for choosing random items from a wheel. Imma try adding some features from it in the app.

Which.. Claude did in 1-2 prompts and 15 total minutes. This thing will be extremely helpful if I had it for baioniq.

Got Claude to update the app to be responsive, i.e. work well on all screen sizes.
Additionally, made it do a little complex layout by having a bottom sheet open up on mobile view only to allow custom words and shiz.

I'll have tp figure out how I want to share this. I've been making CloudFlare my default for deployments lately, so I think I'll go with that only. I've got just a small CSR web app, shouldn't be too heavy at all.

Domain will be... I'll think. Need to have a shorter domain than hamzamoiyadi.dev.

Claude Code has really done a great job here. I've even got it to do my git updates. Really something else.
